What's the ChangeMaker Symposium?
A symposium for the inspiring and inspired, the ChangeMaker Symposium 2017 is first-of-its-kind event in the Toastmasters community here in Hong Kong, and is a signature event of the Professional Trainers Toastmasters Club. Through unleashing individual's training quality, a host of different speakers will share their strategies, life experience and insights on various topics related to being a "changemaker", and it will be a mind-changing experience for everyone.
The Symposium features current Toastmasters - and many of them practising professional trainers - who will be speaking on various topics that relate not just to becoming a better speaker, but also a better communicator and a better leader. All these will create changes in individuals' lives,truly enabling them to become changemakers.
Supporting Club - HKU ASA Toastmasters Club
HKU ASA Toastmasters Club is an English Communication and Leadership training & social club based in the University of Hong Kong. We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which all members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. The club welcomes all (A) Alumni, (S) Students, and (A) Academia of this university.

Professional Trainers Toastmasters Club (PTTM) is an advanced Toastmasters Club in Hong Kong which was officially chartered in September 2016. The club aims to provide a platform for professional and aspiring trainers for honing their workshop presentation and coordination skills. At PTTM, members will be delivering workshops and education sessions, and receive evaluations and feedbacks for their performances.
PTTM currently meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in Admiralty. A typical meeting lasts for about 2 hours and consists of prepared speeches, impromptu speeches, educational workshops and verbal evaluations.
